FNG gas customers receive a gas bill every month based on monthly gas usage measured in hundreds of cubic feet of gas (CCF). Meters are read on or about the last day of the month. The gas usage is calculated by taking the current month's reading and subtracting the previous month's reading. There is also a Customer Service Charge attached to each bill.

If you have problems with your gas bill or have questions or comments about your monthly gas bill, please call or visit our office so that we can take care of your billing questions as soon as possible.

Fairbanks Natural Gas, LLC, is a regulated public utility. Additional information may be obtained from the Regulatory Commission of Alaska (907-276-2722).

Service Application:
If you wish to apply for a new gas service, you must complete a Gas Service Application. A $50 processing fee will be charged with the application. The application and fee will provide a new customer with up to 100 feet of service line from the property edge and a gas meter. Additional charges are added if service line exceeds 100 feet from property edge.

Find out if natural gas is currently in your neighborhood by going to Gas Service Areas or call our office.

If you are moving into an occupancy that is currently serviced with natural gas, you must change the account to you or your business's name by completing a Transfer of Gas Service Application. There is a $30 fee charged with this application.

FNG is pleased to announce Auto-Pay. Your monthly bill can be automatically deducted from you checking or savings account via an automatic draft.

You can convert your existing oil burning boiler or appliance to natural gas by simply removing the oil fired gun with a clean burning and quiet gas fired gun. The simple process, depending on size and location of equipment within your home, can cost between $1000 - $1500 for residential gas conversions. You can also use natural gas for cooking, laundry, water heating, fire places or even outdoor grills!!!

Located within our main office is a Gas Appliance Showroom. FNG has natural gas fired boilers, furnaces, a range, hot water heater, dryer and fireplaces on display.
